How to Increase Your Daily Indexing Quota in GoIndexed

GoIndexed gets 200 URL submissions per day per service account. If you're hitting the limit, here's how to increase your quota by adding more GCP projects or upgrading your plan.

Where the 200/day limit comes from

Google limits the Indexing API to 200 requests per day per GCP project (service account). This is a Google-imposed limit and applies to all tools that use the API.

GoIndexed uses one GCP project per site. Each site you connect gets its own dedicated 200/day quota.

What happens when you hit the limit

When a site uses all 200 submissions for the day, GoIndexed queues the remaining URLs and submits them the next day when the quota resets (midnight Pacific Time).

GoIndexed prioritises by recency and importance — newly failing pages are submitted before older ones.

How to get more quota

  1. Upgrade your GoIndexed plan

Higher plans allow more GCP project slots, which means more sites with dedicated 200/day quota. Open the Pricing page inside GoIndexed to compare plans.

  2. Add a second GCP project for a high-volume site

If one site needs more than 200/day, you can contact Google to request a quota increase for your GCP project. Go to console.cloud.google.com → APIs & Services → Indexing API → Quotas and click Request quota increase.

Tips to use quota efficiently

  • Fix technical issues first (noindex tags, robots.txt blocks) so the API isn't wasted on pages that can't be indexed anyway
  • Use noindex on pages you don't want indexed — this reduces the pool of URLs GoIndexed needs to submit
  • Check the daily quota bar on your site page in GoIndexed to monitor usage
